The idea behind the Sauberkugel:
We wanted to keep bags clean - without the hassle of emptying and shaking them out. This is how the Sauberkugel was born, which removes annoying biscuit crumbs, dust and fluff in the simplest possible way. Right from the start, it was important to us to create a solution that is made in Germany, reusable and easy to clean. The result: our patented clean ball in the handy size of a golf ball!

The inventors of the Sauberkugel and the founders of No Crumbs GmbH Susanne and Bernd Schmekel ‘At some point, the crumbs in my handbag really got on my nerves. And somehow I also found it disgusting.’ It was about 5 years ago when Susanne had the idea for her clean ball on the underground. There should be something that automatically collects crumbs and fluff. The first prototype: a golf ball that Susanne wrapped with double-sided adhesive tape. The dirt stuck to it, but unfortunately so did the lining of the bag. And that's where it stuck. For a very long time. It wasn't until a year later that Susanne's boyfriend remembered the idea and they started developing it together.

The adhesive ball must somehow be behind a grid so that it no longer sticks directly. Together with a CAD designer, they designed the perforated outer shell of the clean ball, produced in a 3D printer. Then it was on to the inner sphere. It had to be a reusable and recyclable material that was easy to clean. After countless tests, the choice fell on TPR.
